I hate trying to open prescription medicine bottles or over the counter aspirin bottles. As I am getting older I am having more trouble with my hands and my eyes. So I bought this jar opener to help me. I had hoped to use it in the kitchen to help me open my jars for cooking. Then I got to playing with it and figured out I could also use it to open up my medicine bottles. It's very easy to use and very comfortable. Once I figured out which side was up of course. It's made of a nice thick plastic with what feels like a silicone grip on the inside. On the handles, there are finger grooves to help me get a better grip. The jar opener sits right on top of the lid and when I gently squeeze it holds the lid so I can grab the bottle and turn it. It works like a charm.
I received this product on a promotional discount for my honest review. Regardless, all opinions are 100% my own based on experiences with said product.
