My dads dog and my cats have been acting like they are having ear problems. I know my dad's dog has ear issues and that was the main reason I wanted to try this Petpost | Dog & Cat Ear Cleaner - Natural Coconut Oil Solution - Best Treatment for Ear Mites, Yeast and Ear Infection Causing Wax - Alcohol & Irritant Free - 8 Oz. I first tried it on my cat Monk. He has been scratching and making sad little noises when he touches his ears. Using it on my cat was exciting. He did not like it touching his ear. I was able to finally get in his ear after wearing a couple of attempts. I rubbed it into his ear and he was okay with it. It didn't seem to hurt or bother him so I took it to my dads. I used it on her good ear first and she actually seemed to like it. It seemed to warm up slightly as I rubbed it in. So then I used it on the bad ear. She wasn't as happy to begin with but as it started to warm up she relaxed more. I made sure to clean out the outer part of her ear and to remove and excess moisture. So I went back today and my dad said she hadn't been swinging her head around as much. So I got her and reapplied the ear medicine. She wasn't too happy with me because I had to clean out the inner part of her ear. Some of the ear wax had drained out. So I'll go back tomorrow and do it again.
