Gideon™ 9 Inch Flameless LED Candle are so realistic. I was completely surprised at just how realistic they looked. The candle is made from real wax and has a nice Vanilla scent. It even has runs of melted wax down the sides.The candle has a plastic flame that moves gently and it gives it a flickering flame look. On the bottom, there is an on and off switch and the compartment for the two AA batteries.(which are not included). The candle also comes with a remote that has several different functions like a timer, dimmer and a switch to change it from a candle look to just a light source.  When it's in candle mode the candle body flickers and has shadows. When it's on the light switch it just a solid light with the flickering from the flame. Both settings are beautiful. I love these candles. They are perfect for any occasion or just for relaxing.
