I really like my new 8" Chef Knife. I have been using mostly ceramic knives until I found this one. I was really impressed with this knife. It has a wonderful weight to it and fit perfectly in my hand. It cuts like a charm. The blade is a beautiful stainless steel and the handle has a beautiful black finish. The first thing I used my new knife on was a pork that was half frozen. When I started to cut it up till I finish I never noticed a difference in how it cut. It was clean easy cuts to the end. I've since used it on onions and green onions. To me though I find it easier to just use a smaller knife to cut up my smaller vegetables. Though I didn't have any problem using this knife to do the job. Very easy to clean. Just add soap and water. It comes in a really nice box that would be perfect for gift giving as well.
