Crack Your Own Crystal Hollow Geodes - 10 Pack

I have always been fascinated with rocks and crystals. I have always wanted to get some Geodes so when I found this set of 10 I thought it would be something I could do with my kids. My middle son loves science and crystals too. So I was excited when I got my set of ten geodes. They came with a few packaging peanuts to keep them from rubbing and breaking. There are a variety of sizes in the box. Two small, Four medium and two large. I used two of my mediums one to break open. They are very hard to break even with a hammer. When I finally got them to break they broke up in pieces. The insides were beautiful. So shiny and sparkly. I placed mine in a sock to break to keep from making a huge mess. I haven't broken any of the others because I didn't want to do them all at once. I really like the two I opened. They are so pretty.
