My kids hate onions. So in order to cook with them I have to cut them up really small. These product is perfect for just that and so much more. It comes with three different blades..One for dicing and chopping. The third would be good for cutting carrots or other harder vegetables into strips. The case is very nicely made. The end of the top has a nice rubber cover and easy to open and close. It also comes with a vegetable peeler and a brush to clean out the grind on the bottom of the lid. Its very easy to wash. Just add soap and water or place in the dishwasher.  

I love to cut up my onions and freeze them. This is perfect just for that purpose.
