I am so excited to finally have a food vacuum sealer. I have been wanting one for a while now and I was finally able to purchase one. This vacuum sealer will be used in two households, my parents, and mine. My dad does a lot of fishing and is always freezing them but a lot of the time the zip lock bags get punctured and the fish gets freezer burnt. He also does a lot of deer hunting and sometimes small game animals. I am hoping because the material the bags are made out of are thicker our food will be protected longer. I also like to buy larger packs of hamburger and split them up into two meals. With my vacuum sealer, it will be easier for me to store them. I can even break down packs of chicken and make more meals from them or even steak.

The vacuum sealer was pretty easy to use after I read the instructions. It comes with a small roll of plastic to make bags from. With it beginning on a roll I can make the sizes I need. It also came with 5 premade bags and all I have to do is seal the one end. It comes with a vacuum top for the vacuum canisters and the tubing to hook it up with. It's really easy to hook up the tubing to the vacuum. I don't have any of the canisters yet so I didn't get to play with this feature.

The vacuum itself is a nice weight. The top is done in a stainless steel and has the control panel on top. It's very clearly marked and easy to use. Just press the button for the function you want to use. On the side of the base are buttons that release the top after it has been locked in place. They are very easy to press and respond imminently. I can hear the lid lock and unlock after pressing down or pressing the release buttons. On the inside is a button for the vacuum canisters. The base is not that large and doesn't take up a lot of space. It's the perfect size for storage. I am really excited to get to play with it more and to find out just what I can and can't freeze.
