My kids like to drink hot tea and hot instant coffee so I though a tea kettle would be perfect for them. It's a nice black kettle. It has a silicone ring around the top of the handle to keep me from burning myself. It has a removable lid that fits nicely and forms a nice seal. It also has a removable spout cover that is supposed to be heat resistance. I haven't tested that out myself too much of a chicken. It has a pleasant whistle. Not too loud and not too quiet. It has a nice open spout for easy pouring and less chance of splashing. It's also dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
Now the reason I am giving mine a 4-star rating is because it came with a ding in it. It doesn't effect how it works so I can still use it.
