I found these at just the right moment. I live in Florida and we have ground hornets.These little buggers hurt when they sting you and they will chase you just to do it. My son was out in the yard the other day and got stung on the inside top part of his toe. His toe them swelled up and because very uncomfortable. So we eased one of the toe separators on and it actually helped with the discomfort. 

The toe separator was squishy and soft enough that they didn't hurt his toes or feet. They were thick enough between the toe that it keep his other toes from touching the spot where he had been stung. If I had thought about it I would have stuck them in the freezer before hand so it would have been nice and cold. He wore them for a little while and he seemed to like them.
