I have an older house and old septic tank. I had recently found a septic tank mixture that was supposed to help with the breakdown of the stuff inside the tank. I used it a couple of times and I liked it but it was a lot more difficult to mix and use. I had to mix it with warm water and let it sit for 4 hours before using it. It looked horrible and smelled even worse.With the Green Gobbler SEPTIC SAVER Bacteria Enzyme Pacs it is a lot easier. They come in individual packs that I can just toss in the commode and flush. As soon as they touch the water the dissolvable pack starts to dissolve. Then all I have to do is just flush. It even comes with a handy app that I can download that will give me a friendly reminder as to when to treat it again.
