Coson Premium Sharpening Steel Knife Sharpener 12.8 Inch

I bought the Coson Premium Sharpening Steel Knife Sharpener 12.8 Inch for my boys and my dad. My family is full of outdoorsmen. From fishing to hunting they are always carrying a knife. My youngest liked to take my kitchen knives that are new and sharp and then I never see them again. So I am hoping that he will use the knife sharpener to sharpen his knife and leave mine alone.

It's not that hard to use. I have to admit I have never used one like this so it is a learning process for me. Luckily they have a diagram of the right way to use it in the listing. It does have a little bit of weight to it but not enough to make it uncomfortable to use. The handle is made of a thick plastic and it feels nice in my hand. Although silicon or rubber might have been a better chose as for gripping the sharpener and not slipping. The blade part is made from a nice steel. It's long but it's still easy to store or to take with me if I need to take it to my dads. I used it on two different blades. One I use all the time and other that has been sitting in a drawer for awhile. I can tell a difference in the feel of the blade from just me playing with it. I am sure as I learn how to use it and get more comfortable with it I won't have any problem sharpening my knives.
