I was on the fence about using my Hoont™ Electronic Rodent Trap - Clean and Humane Extermination of Rats, Mice and Squirrels. I was really worried about the whole electrocution aspect of the mouse trap. I live in the woods in Florida and we have what we call swamp rats. They can get to be the size of small dogs. I hate rats and they creep me out. So I got cats.But my cats haven't been doing their job as well as they used to so I figured I should get some help. I had found where a rat had been under my cabinet. So I got the Hoont™ Electronic Rodent Trap - Clean and Humane Extermination of Rats, Mice and Squirrels to place under my cabinet where my cats couldn't get to it. It's very well made and it is big enough that I can catch the bigger rats around here. My cats are too big to get into it so that was a relief. The spring rat traps would have hurt my babies and there wasn't a way to keep them out of it. This rat trap runs off batteries ( 4 D batteries) or I can plug t into the wall. It's very sturdy and it has all kinds of warning post on it. It also has a warning signal. The lights will flash and let you know if there is a rat inside. It's a really nice rat trap and easy to use.
