Brieftons 4-in-1 Mandoline Slicer is perfect for my kitchen. I can not slice a tomato straight for nothing. It always winds up one side huge while the other is small. And I hate cutting onions up into little cubes. It never works out for me. I bought this Slicer to try and see if I could improve my vegetable cutting and it worked. I had so much fun playing with my new slicer. I cut up onions into perfect little pieces. My kids will not eat them if they can see them. I used it to make a fresh salsa out of my tomato. 

The slicer comes with enter-changeable blades. There's a blade for slices, one for grating cheese, a fine Julienne slicing blade, and one for a coarse Julienne slicing blade. It's very easy to clean. I just ran some water over it and added some soap. The base has slots into so it will sit on the sides or bowls or pans comfortable so I don't have to worry about trying to hold it and cutting my vegetables at the same time. It also has a handle that attaches to the vegetable so I am a little less likely to cut my fingers. I think next I am going to try slicing me some potatoes and frying them.
