So on my stove top I have only one burner left that works and it's a small one. I have been thinking about buying the portable burners so I can cook a little easier. When I saw this one I thought it would be perfect. When I took it out of the box I was shocked at how pretty it was. I then took it to my kitchen to try and play with my new burner. It comes with instructions, but they weren't working for me. So I and my son plug it in and we are trying to get it to heat up. The first thing I notice is the top doesn't get hot or show heat like my glass stove top does. Then all it would do was beep at me. For 30 minutes, I fought with it till I gave up. I went and searched on the internet to see if I could find out more about it. The reason it kept beeping at me is because it wasn't recognizing the pot on the top. You have to have certain types of pots and pans to use it. Lucky I found that a couple of mines would work. I have some cast iron and steel pots that the stove top liked. So today I found one of the smaller iron pans I have and I decided to make tea. I adjusted the setting on the front and turned it on. It heated up the water super fast. I had to turn down the heat. It didn't take any time and I had a pot of tea.

On the top of the stove, there are several adjustable settings. I can adjust the temp, the timer and the voltage. I am not very sure about what setting to put the voltage on so I will probably leave it alone. You also have a lock button to lock the controls so that they don't accidently get changed. The burner will be a great help in my kitchen so glad I got it.
