I have never used Tamanu Oil before but had been wanting to so I finally bought some. I have used Pure Body Naturals products before so I trusted the name. It came in a huge 4-ounce bottle with a nice glass dropper. I love the glass droppers because it makes using the oil so much easier. When I opened the bottle I was taken back by the scent. It's not an unpleasant scent just different. The color of the oil is this cool dark green shimmery color. Almost like it has tiny little particles of glitter in it.
I applied it to my hand to test the essential oil and it was absorbed nicely. I didn't have any kind of reactions to it. No stinging or burning. Where I applied the oil it left my skin nice and shiny and smooth feeling. I love the way it makes my skin feel.
I am trying to convince my 17-year-old to try it out on his acne. His face is breaking out pretty bad and him being the stubborn type, doesn't want to use anything for it.
I received this item at a free or discounted rate in exchange for a review. Regardless, all options are 100% my own based on experiences with said product.
