I live in an older house and it eats regular light bulbs on regular bases. So I am trying to find a different type of light bulb that will last longer in my house. I bought the Firefly A19 12 Watt Bulb - 75 Watt Equivalent - Non-Dimmable, Looks like a Traditional A19 Bulb to give it a try. I screwed it into the living room fixture and turned it on. I was surprised at how bright it was. It put out a lot more light than the regular bulb I had been using. It lit up the whole living room. I have real old cedar walls and it makes my living room very dark looking, but this light bulb was able to brighten up the room. It looks great. It looks like a regular light bulb. It's a little heavier than a regular light bulb but not too much. I need to replace a lot of my light fixtures and then I think I am going to switch to these light bulbs if they last longer than a month. So far I have had mine in for a week so time will tell.
I received this item at a free or discounted rate in exchange for a review. Regardless, all options are 100% my own based on experiences with said product.
