I absolutely hate head lice. My hair is so thick and long it usually takes about three bottles of lice shampoo to treat my hair just one time. The little plastic combs that come with the kits, my hair eats for breakfast. So not only do I have to try and get head lice out but I have to pick the comb teeth out of my hair too. My sons when they were little would bring it home from school and it would take me forever to get rid of it. It got to the point where I was buying dog metal flea combs to try and comb them out. So when I saw this lice comb, even though we haven't had that scare in a long time, I figured it would be a good investment. It's made from a nice shiny stainless steel. The finger grips are a very nice touch. Nothing like trying to pull the comb thru my hair and losing it. Feels great in my hand. It has just the right weight to it. The teeth are a nice length. They are long enough to go thru my hair. The teeth not only grab the lice and nits, but it also grabs any lose hair or dandruff in my hair too. It can also be used to remove fleas from pets. It's very easy to clean. I nice soap and water to remove any leftover grime. I really like the look and feel of my new comb.
