The pasta cooker comes with an instruction pamphlet that tells you how long to cook certain pasta or rice. I made two cups of rice the first time I used it. My rice came out perfect. It was little and fluffy and fully cooked. I was so happy. I hate cooking rice on the stove and I haven't done it in a long time. I usually use a rice cooker, but my son killed mine. Now I can cook rice again with no worries.
The pasta cooker has a water line measure on the side. It also has two holes on the lid to let me know if I am adding enough for one serving or two (pasta). It also has drain slots on the end to drain out any excess water. As an extra bonus, it came with a spoon to serve with.
It's very easy to use and clean. Just add soap and water. It's also safe to put in the dishwasher. This is just a great addition to my kitchen. I know I'll be using it a lot.
