I have recently started trying new things with my hair. I've tried a flat iron which worked nicely with my hair and then I found a Straightening Brush so I thought I would give it a try too. The first time I used it wasn't so pleasant. I think it pulled out half my hair. Now keep in mind I have really thick hair and it's really curly/wavy. I kept at it even though it was very painful. It did what it was supposed to and straightened my hair as much as it could. The second time I tried it I went a different route. I washed my hair and waited till it was almost completely dried and then I started using the brush. I used small sections and this time it wasn't as bad. It still pulled out my hair but not as much and not as painful. The only other problem I had with it was I keep hitting the temperature control buttons and changing the heating. Other then that it's really a cool invention. I'm sure with practice I will get it down so it doesn't hurt at all.
